Down to the nitty gritty

Well, in less than 48 hours we will be on our way.
     I haven't started to pack.
I have started to think about packing.  As we all know, thinking about doing something is the first requirement to actually doing the aforesaid action.
Jackie started packing two days ago.  I tend to be a little more impulsive, (Surprise!!!) and that way I can deal with some adversity once I get there.
I do have a list with everything I think I need.  I will pack that plus a bunch of other stuff that happens to be close at hand.
I am willing to bet I am the only passenger packing cake icing, Nyquil, Mickey Mouse baby outfits from Disney, freakin' heavy candlesticks and 26 pairs of boxer shorts.  I wonder what the TSA folks will say when they x-ray my checked luggage.
I still have a couple of things to do.  I have to clean house and mow my yard today.  Emily's yard needs to be mowed and trimmed, hopefully tomorrow.  And I have to pack.  I also have to finish putting my travel book together...articles I have run off that need to be in a binder where I can find them.  If I can find the binder.
Did I mention I have to pack?  OK, maybe I am getting a little nervous.  Hell, I am getting a lot nervous.  I can see this might be a two pill flight this time!!
I did clarify the carry on regulations with EasyJet in Europe.  One carry on item.  I have to have my computer, camera and clothing in my carry on bag.
So, here is my dilemma.  Carry on or check from Geneva to Barcelona.

On the left is my checked suitcase.
In the middle is Jackie's carry on.
On the right is my new carry on, which should contain my camera, laptop, and clothes for a four day trip from Switzerland.
     This could be a challenge.
I will keep you posted, hopefully on a regular basis.
And the next post will be from Italy....
Ciao!!

  1. What's the challenge for four days?

One pair of boxers (worn 4 different ways) a pair of socks, couple of shirts and some jeans.. Sorted. You could probably get away with a pencil case for that duration LOL ... Happy travels and see you soon Daws
